Episode 6: Top 5 Movies

Link: Top 5 Movies

This week Brad and Daniel sat down to discuss their top five movies they've seen five times or more. Daniel introduced Avaline Wines. We enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, and Pinot Noir.

While Avaline doesn't produce their own wines, it seems they're extremely involved in selecting the vineyards and wineries they work with to ensure transparency in what is in their wines. https://drinkavaline.com/pages/transparency

Here are the tasting notes for each of the wines:

Sauvignon Blanc: Crisp and fresh, with notes of ripe citrus and rose petals

The grapes:

Sauvignon Blanc - Sauvignon Blanc produces bright and fresh wines with flavors ranging from ultra-tart to soft and floral. Ours is crisp, with balanced acidity and notes of rose petals.

Pairs well with: Shared plates and easy conversation

Rose: Light and fresh, with notes of melon and zest

The grapes:

Grenache - A staple of Provence, the Grenache grape adds vibrance to our blend through its expression of stone fruit and tropical fruit flavors

Cinsault - A low sugar grape, Cinsault helps keep our alcohol low while adding a peachy cantaloupe color and tart cherry to the finish of the blend

Caladoc - This grape is to thank for our Rosé's appealing color and delicately expressive mouthfeel, where spices mingle with nectarine blossoms

Syrah - Sweet and spicy, Syrah helps round out the other grapes and brings a light peppery finish

Pairs well with: The warmth of the sun and the company of your best friend

Pinot Noir: Light bodied with notes of wild raspberry and cherry

The grapes:

Pinot Noir grapes typically have bright red fruit flavors and a subtle touch of earthy spice-our Pinot picks up on those fruity notes and reminds us of wild raspberry and cherry.

Pairs well with: Fading sunlight and your favorite song
