Episode Link: Shows That Ended Well, and Others That Jumped the Shark

On this episode Brad and Daniel talk about television shows that ended well and others that...well, didn't. We also mention tv characters we'd love to share a drink.

We enjoyed two amazing wines from Lobo Hills, based in Washington.

2021 Carménère, Sugarloaf Vineyards. Intense aromas of blueberries, black olive, black tea and jalapeño. On the palate, the wine opens up into flavors of blueberries, pepper, butterscotch and anise.

2023 Auxerrois

TERROIR

Yakima Valley

VINTAGE

2023

Being the only producer of this varietal in Washington state, Tony presents this 100% Auxerrois true to its varietal characteristics. He aged in two separate tanks with two different yeast treatments: one that was Alsatian and the other Burgundian, then blended at bottling. It was aged in stainless steel, on the lees, stirred once every 3 weeks for 6 months. This wine presents aromas and flavors of lemon, peach, straw, apricot, melon, and clove.

The Auxerrois grape is a varietal found only at Inland Desert nursery in eastern Washington. Lobo Hills is the only winery producing this varietal, which is more familiar to the Alsatian region of northern France.
